Job Description
This is a full-time on-site General Manager role located at metrobar in Washington, DC. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of metrobar DC, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and implementing business strategies to drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Communication with and coordination of the Management Team, planning and leading weekly management meetings.
- On-premise oversight of venue operations during service (shift management).
- Hiring, training, scheduling and management of venue staff.
- Coordination of purchasing and inventory, including restaurant supplies and products for retail sale.
- Maintenance of the venue’s condition, appearance, organization and presentation.
- Setting and upholding high customer service and hospitality standards.
- Ongoing development and implementation of systems to maintain and improve venue’s operating efficiency, revenue and profitability.
- Development and execution of one-time and recurring venue-led programming to increase patronage and average spend per patron/visit.
